Rogation Sunday 25th May
An ancient festival with increasing relevance today
Rogation is an ancient church festival which asks for God’s blessing on a community’s agriculture and industry to ensure the wellbeing of that community. World politics and increasingly unpredictable weather patterns make the message of Rogation increasingly relevant today.
Earl Stonham and Stonham Parva will be marking Rogation Sunday on 25th May with:
a walk from Earl Stonham Church (meeting at the Parish Room beside the Church at 2.45pm) to Stonham Parva followed by a service at Stonham Parva Church at 3.30pm.
Please do join us for the walk and/or the service. The service will be followed by refreshments.
