Shop Supervisor – Part-time

Coddenham’s award winning Community Shop is a lively, friendly place to work. Owned and managed by the community for the benefit of the community, our shop, with “coffee-stop” and outreach post office is at the heart of village life.

We are now looking for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the team as part-time Supervisors, overseeing all our day-to-day operations and managing our volunteer staff.

You’ll be expected to work shifts, typically 18-20 hours per week to cover shop hours – between 0730 to 1730 Monday to Friday – with regular Saturday working.

Whilst retail experience is desirable, it isn’t essential – what we need is a great communicator and someone who can be an ambassador for our community whilst ensuring smooth day-to-day running.

Pay will be competitive, recognising that the shop operates as a volunteer led community enterprise.
