“Coddenham sausages are in safe hands….”

Thank you to all the members who attended and voted at our first Annual Meeting both “in person” via Zoom and remotely via proxy ballot.

Although a formal affair as is required by law, for those that attended,  it proved to be a very informative meeting  – with a first year business review and look ahead to the future from the Chair and a detailled anlaysis of the financial accounts from the Treasurer. As was also required, the management committee offered themselves for re-election and with the ballots counted, all members were duly re-elected for the next 3 years.

With all these things, it is the community of our members, supporters and customers that we serve and it was therefore particularly good to receive a number of very positive and supportive comments following the meeting. “Really professionally done…..huge confidence in the plans going forward” ,”… the shop has survived a year which would have killed off many less robust organisations “…lucky to have the shop and have it managed by such a committed and skillful bunch”. “Coddenham sausages are in safe hands!”

From the committee (and of course from the sausages) – thank you again for all your support.

Rod Stanley-Bell

Chair, Coddenham Community Shop Ltd
