The earliest surviving structures are a late C11th slit window and the west wall of the nave – a building was on the site shortly after the time of William the Conqueror!The church has areas of C11 and C12 rubble walling to north chancel, which was extended eastwards in mid C13. Major building phases around mid C14, includes the raising of a simple tower, with further, more intricate building work in late C15
