What a Fete day!

Firstly, thank you so much to Joanna and Russell for hosting and accommodating our needs for the  2025 Hemingstone Village Fete in the stunning gardens of Hemingstone Hall.
Our thanks to all those behind the scenes who made the gardens look so beautiful…… to Karen and all the other members of the team who must have worked so hard  to prepare the grounds.
We have been so lucky to share this day with the village, and folk from further afield. One family from Cambridge diverted their trip to the beach having seen the signs and were loving every minute.  New contacts made in the history tent of a retired Butler who had worked at the Hall many years ago.  The helicopter performing a fly past – one of the generous raffle prizes to be won!  Stall holders and musicians saying how privileged they felt to be part of our Fete.  Yummy cake, burgers and the ever popular splat the rat!
We were lucky with the weather, the turn out amazing and a result of £3,730.00 to maintain our Grade 1 listed Church for future generations.
