Scarecrow with ahppy face in garden

Planning is moving on for this lovely village event, and I have been delighted by the enthusiasm that so many have expressed about holding the event this year.

We are still optimistic that the worst of the dark days of the pandemic will be behind us and that we will be able to enjoy socialising again in our village by the end of June.

Please consider opening your garden and if you have any questions just get in touch.

The scarecrows in 2019 were amazing and it would be wonderful to have even more in 2021 so if you are new to the village or an old hand start planning that scarecrow now.

We always need volunteers and this year is no different so we would be very grateful to hear from anyone willing to volunteer to help plan the event and especially to help on the day.  Just a couple of hours would be most helpful, maybe selling tickets, helping set up or take down or assisting with the refreshments.
