Thursday 11th July 2024:  This year will see the first Suffolk County Council’s Carbon Charter Summer event to be co-hosted by the Coddenham Centre.

While a commercially focussed event, it’s another example of Coddenham being firmly on the regional map, when it comes to talking about the environment.

Peter Frost, Suffolk County Council’s Environment Strategy Officer describes the event now in its eleventh year.

There will be keynote speakers, exhibitors and networking opportunities.  There will also be an electric powered lorry and walks around the rewilding and biodiversity works that are in progress as well as a look around the Centre building itself.

With luck, the weather will be kind for the afternoon.  With arrivals from 2:30 pm and expected departures from 5:30 pm, the full itinerary is as follows.

This hall is an exemplar of solar, battery, heat pumps, insulation, EV charging and more which shows what can be achieved by a dedicated staff and a passionate community led by a visionary team.
