scarecrow

It is with great delight that we are looking forward to holding this lovely village event again after the difficult times we have been through..

We have all had plenty of time to work on our gardens, so please consider opening your garden.  I am looking forward to seeing the changes to previously open gardens and would be delighted to have some ‘new’ gardens open. Please just get in touch with me if you have any questions.

The scarecrows in 2019 were amazing and it would be wonderful to have even more in 2021 so if you are new to the village or an old hand start planning that scarecrow now.

Our chosen charity this year is Suffolk Accident Rescue Service.  SARS is mobilised when enhanced assistance is needed by the ambulance service at the scene of an accident or medical emergency, and it is their 50th anniversary this year.

We will also be making a donation to the Church Fabric Fund for all the help and support given to us by the Church.

As always volunteers are needed so we would be very grateful to hear from anyone willing to volunteer to help plan the event and especially to help on the day.  Just a couple of hours would be most helpful, maybe selling tickets, helping set up or take down or assisting with the refreshments.
