Some may recollect that the Coddenham Community Response Group last year sought a ‘benchmark’ botanical survey of Broom Hill.

This year, with the new support of the Coddenham Parish Council plus the sponsorship of the Day Foundation and Gardemau Trust, an expanded survey will took place on Tuesday 5th July.

Covering not only Broom Hill but, Mill Hill, the Burial Ground, the Three Cocked Hat and Plantation Hill, it will provide a current record of all that is growing, with guidance on nurture or protection as required.

Suffolk Wildlife Trust are conducting the survey and have confirmed it is in its final stages. We will share findings through these pages.

Details of the welcome return of Working Parties starting with Mill Hill on the 19th November, will follow from Coddenham Parish Council soon.
