Some may recollect that the Coddenham Community Response Group last year sought a ‘benchmark’ botanical survey of Broom Hill.

This year, with the new support of the Coddenham Parish Council plus the sponsorship of the Day Foundation and Gardemau Trust, an expanded survey will take place on Tuesday 5th July.

Covering not only Broom Hill but, Mill Hill, the Burial Ground, the Three Cocked Hat and Plantation Hill, it will provide a current record of all that is growing, with guidance on nurture or protection as required.

Suffolk Wildlife Trust are conducting the survey which will report back at the end of September. We will share findings through these pages.
