The Coddenham Centre is trying to play its part in the community to support the road to net zero carbon emissions.

The average household carbon footprint in Coddenham is 24.6 tonnes CO e per year. You could save approximately 1 tonne CO2 per year just by incorporating energy saving behaviours into your daily routine. That’s the equivalent to driving 4,500 miles in theaverage petrol car or one return flight from London to New York!

On behalf of the Suffolk Climate Change Partnership/Groundworks with the help of the Coddenham Community Response Group,  we are asking residents to complete a  survey to help us understand more about our community’s carbon footprint and how we can reduce it.

It takes less than five minutes, is anonymous, can be completed by yourself, with friends, neighbours or family,  (particularly if you have members who perhaps don’t turn the lights out after them)!

To take the survey, please visit: the link here.

There are thirteen individual villages surveys taking place; lets demonstrate during COP26 fortnight , that Coddenham cares by completing as many surveys as possible.

There is lots more information and links on the postcard here Coddenham Postcard. Copies are available in the Coddenham Community Shop, The Coddenham Centre, Haysel House and St Mary’s Church.
